Amad expresses desire for long-term stay at Manchester United

Amad expressed his desire to stay at Manchester United for a long time after scoring two goals in the club's first European victory in over a year.

The 22-year-old's contract is set to expire in the summer, but there is an option to extend it until 2026, with initial discussions underway for a new deal.

Despite facing some frustrations earlier in the season, Amad was given a starting spot by interim manager Ruud van Nistelrooy in a match against PAOK, where he excelled and scored both goals in a 2-0 win.

Amad stated his happiness at the club, expressing his wish to stay long-term and make history with Manchester United.

Having not won a European match since October 2023, United's victory over PAOK moved them up to 15th place in the Europa League standings.

Amad, who scored his first goal for United in March 2021, mentioned his determination to always give his best, even when not starting, and his readiness to work with new teammates.

Despite the upcoming challenge posed by the arrival of Ruben Amorim, Amad remains focused on contributing to the team's success and regaining their top position.
