NFL fans were surprised by Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown's celebration during the team's game against the Baltimore Ravens on Monday Night Football in Maryland. In the third quarter, St. Brown caught a touchdown pass to tie the game at 21-21. He then faced the cameras and declared himself one of the best, using strong language.
The 25-year-old shouted, 'I run this s***, n****!' After the game, St. Brown apologized for his outburst in the heat of the moment. ESPN later highlighted his connections to Germany, his mother's homeland, and his charitable work.
In the game, St. Brown had an impressive performance, leading the Lions in catches, yards, and touchdowns in their 38-30 victory over Baltimore. He made seven catches for 77 yards, including the only touchdown of the night. His 20-yard catch on 4th down secured the win for the Lions, who now have a 2-1 record.
After a tough start against the Green Bay Packers in Week 1, the Lions showed strong offense in Weeks 2 and 3, defeating the Chicago Bears and the Ravens. Their next game will be at home against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday.
