Are Baltimore Ravens Really the NFL's Top Team or Overhyped?
Chris Broussard has shared his thoughts on the Baltimore Ravens being ranked as the top lineup in the NFL before the season starts. The question arises whether this ranking accurately reflects the team's abilities or if the Ravens are receiving excessive attention.
Some Baltimore Ravens players have shown great skills on the football field, but it has come to light that some of them struggle in the water. Defensive back Marlon Humphrey and a few of his teammates admitted they do not know how to swim. In response, the team sought help from a local expert.
Michael Phelps, the most decorated Olympian in history, was approached for guidance due to his expertise in swimming techniques. Humphrey reached out to the retired competitive swimmer and Baltimore native through a social media video, along with safety Kyle Hamilton, offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley, and tight end Charlie Kolar standing in a pool.
Phelps expressed his willingness to assist, responding positively to the video's request. Kolar mentioned that he was surprised by Humphrey's decision to post the video publicly, highlighting the team's eagerness to learn swimming skills from Phelps.
Phelps, who won 23 gold medals in his Olympic career, has a strong connection to Baltimore and was chosen as the flag bearer for Team USA at the 2016 Summer Olympics opening ceremony in Rio de Janeiro.
