Arsenal's William Saliba injured in Premier League match with Liverpool.

Arsenal faced a setback when William Saliba got injured early in their match against Liverpool at Anfield. Saliba had to leave the field after a collision with Liverpool's Hugo Ekitike. Cristhian Mosquera took his place in the game, facing a tough challenge against Mohamed Salah.

This injury adds to a series of setbacks for Arsenal's manager, Mikel Arteta. Bukayo Saka, who recently suffered a hamstring injury, will be out for a few weeks. Arteta expressed concern over Saka's recurring injuries and emphasized the need to address the issue to make him stronger.

In addition to Saka, Arsenal is dealing with injuries to several other key players, including Gabriel Jesus, Kai Havertz, Martin Odegaard, Christian Norgaard, Leandro Trossard, and Ben White. Havertz underwent a minor knee surgery, while Odegaard played despite a shoulder injury.

Arsenal has reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen to bring in defender Piero Hincapie on a season-long loan. The club also has the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the season. This move could potentially pave the way for Jakub Kiwior to join Porto.
