Astronomer resigns after ringless sighting, sparking speculation.
Astronomer HR chief Kristin Cabot was seen for the first time since her resignation following the Coldplay kiss cam scandal. The 52-year-old resigned from her role after being caught canoodling with Astronomer CEO Andy Byron at a Coldplay concert in Boston on July 16. The company confirmed her resignation, and she was spotted back at her home in Rye, New Hampshire, focusing on her plants.
Cabot, who had been placed on leave pending investigation, was seen without her wedding ring, which she had previously worn in social media photos. Her husband, Andrew Cabot, was not seen at their home. The couple had purchased the $2.2 million property earlier this year, with plans for renovation.
Despite the scandal, Cabot appeared stoic while tending to her garden at her New Hampshire home. The property is currently under lien, raising questions about their future plans regarding the house. Public documents show Cabot's previous marriage and her husband's history of divorces.
Cabot, a descendant of a prominent Boston family, is married to Andrew Cabot, the CEO of Privateer Rum. Byron, also married, faced consequences as well. His wife, Megan Byron, has been holding crisis talks over their marriage at their Maine mansion. Neither Cabot nor Byron has responded to requests for comment.
