Aubrey Plaza Remembers Alleged Theft by Biden in West Wing
As reported by People magazine, actress Aubrey Plaza shared a story on Amy Poehler's podcast "Good Hang" about an incident during Barack Obama's presidency. Plaza mentioned swiping an item off then-Vice President Joe Biden's desk during a visit to the White House with the cast of "Parks and Recreation."
Plaza, known for her role as April Ludgate on the show, recalled seeing a notebook with her name and details about her. She jokingly admitted to taking the item, prompting a response from the show's co-creator, Mike Schur, who reminded her of the seriousness of the location.
Despite the playful incident, there were no hard feelings between Plaza and Biden, who later exchanged friendly banter during Plaza's appearances on "Saturday Night Live" and in a poll about Delaware's most famous resident.
In a recent episode of "NYT Cooking," Plaza was asked where she would take her co-star Margaret Qualley to eat in Delaware. Plaza also announced her upcoming role in Ethan Coen's play "Let’s Love!" which will premiere at the Atlantic Theater Company in September, directed by Tony nominee Neil Pepe.
Plaza is set to star as Heidi Fleiss in an upcoming film about the infamous "Hollywood Madam," focusing on Fleiss's legal troubles and connections in the industry.
