Baltimore Comedian Reggie Carroll, 52, Fatally Shot in Mississippi

Reggie Carroll, a 52-year-old stand-up comedian based in Baltimore, was fatally shot on August 20 in Southaven, Mississippi, as confirmed by authorities.

Upon responding to a shooting report, Southaven Police found Carroll with headshot wounds. Despite receiving medical assistance, he did not survive his injuries.

A suspect has been taken into custody and charged with Carroll's death. The investigation is ongoing.

Carroll, known for his comedy performances nationwide, was featured in the 2023 special "Knockout Kings of Comedy" and the 2022 TV movie "Rent & Go."

Mobtown Comedy, a Baltimore-based stand-up collective, paid tribute to Carroll on Instagram, expressing sorrow over his passing and acknowledging his early support for their work. They extended condolences to his family and the Baltimore comedy community.
