Barcelona Chiefs Positive about Marcus Rashford Despite Recent Disciplinary Issue

Rashford, on loan from Manchester United, has made a strong start at Barcelona with two goals and four assists. His debut goals for the club were against Newcastle United at St James' Park.

However, he faced criticism and was dropped from the squad for a match against Getafe after being late to a team meeting.

Barcelona's sporting director, Deco, has stated that they are pleased with Rashford's performance in LaLiga. He mentioned that Rashford is on loan without any penalties, and Barcelona has an option to buy him.

Deco also discussed the failed attempt to sign Luis Diaz from Liverpool, who later joined Bayern Munich. The move for Diaz was complicated due to Liverpool's reluctance to sell him.

Rashford's return to Manchester United under current manager Ruben Amorim seems improbable. Amorim had previously excluded Rashford from the squad after poor training performances before loaning him to Aston Villa and eventually to Barcelona.
