Bayern Munich's €75m Bid for Luis Diaz Accepted by Liverpool

The 28-year-old player was not included in Liverpool's team during their loss to AC Milan as talks progressed for a transfer to Bayern Munich.

Luis Diaz is nearing a €75m transfer to Bayern Munich as the German club continues discussions with Liverpool. Coach Arne Slot chose not to include Diaz in the match against AC Milan due to uncertainties surrounding the player's future.

Bayern Munich has been in ongoing talks with Liverpool after their initial bid was turned down. They later submitted an offer of £65.5m after an initial bid of £58.5m was rejected. Despite Liverpool's initial stance that Diaz was not for sale, the player has shown interest in moving to Bayern Munich.

Aside from Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Al-Nassr also expressed interest in Diaz. Liverpool valued him at €100m, but Bayern negotiated a lower fee as they sought a replacement for Leroy Sane. Liverpool has made significant signings this summer, and if Diaz departs, it would help offset some of their expenses.

Liverpool is also considering the potential departure of Darwin Nunez, although his absence from the AC Milan game was due to injury.
