Chelsea's BlueCo Set to Sign Julio Enciso from Brighton

BlueCo, the organization that owns Chelsea and Strasbourg, has agreed to sign midfielder Julio Enciso from Brighton & Hove Albion. Enciso, a 21-year-old Paraguay international, spent the last season on loan at Ipswich Town and has opted to join the BlueCo project for his next career move. Personal terms with the consortium have been finalized.

The relationship between the sides has been positive following significant business dealings since BlueCo acquired Chelsea in 2022 and Strasbourg in 2023. Enciso is expected to start at the French club initially but is seen as a long-term player for Chelsea.

Reports indicate that Enciso was not in Brighton's plans for the upcoming season under head coach Fabian Hurzeler. He is currently recovering from knee surgery. Enciso was loaned to Ipswich in January and made 13 appearances, scoring two goals and providing three assists as Ipswich was relegated to the Championship.
