Chelsea's George leads team to victory over Lincoln.

Teenager Tyrique George scored and assisted to help Chelsea avoid an upset in the Carabao Cup against League One team Lincoln City. Lincoln took the lead in the first half through Rob Street, but George equalized three minutes into the second half and then set up Facundo Buonanotte for the winning goal in the 50th minute.

Lincoln's energetic pressing and threat from long throw-ins troubled Chelsea, with the Premier League side struggling to deal with the opposition's attacks. Despite Lincoln's dominance in the first half, Chelsea managed to level the score early in the second half and eventually secured a 2-1 victory.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca expressed concern about facing Lincoln, acknowledging the challenge of playing against lower-league teams. Chelsea, coming off a tough week with mixed results, made several changes to the starting lineup but still faced a tough challenge from Lincoln's direct style of play.

Lincoln's fearless performance showcased their strength in the League One, but they missed out on a historic win over Chelsea due to defensive lapses in the second half. Chelsea will now focus on their upcoming Premier League match against Brighton, while Lincoln will aim to continue their good form in League One.
