Drake Addresses Rumors of Plastic Surgery

Drake recently addressed rumors about undergoing plastic surgery, including a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) and having fake abs. The speculation arose after a selfie of his defined six-pack went viral on June 28.

During a reunion in Switzerland with podcaster Bobbi Althoff on her new show, Not Again, Drake denied undergoing a liposuction procedure known as abdominal etching when directly questioned by the host.

Referring to his rap rival Metro Boomin's diss track "BBL Drizzy," Drake explained that the viral selfie may have been enhanced using editing tools like Facetune. He admitted to possibly adjusting the image but clarified that his abs did not naturally look as defined as in the photo.

Drake did not disclose his workout routine but shared Running app stats from a jog he did on August 21. It remains unclear if he used editing apps for other photos, such as a hot tub selfie posted on February 3.

In a legal battle, Drake sued Universal Music Group for allegedly inflating streaming numbers of a diss track against him. The ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar has seen several diss tracks released, with Kendrick accusing Drake of various allegations.

Drake is currently on tour with PartyNextDoor and will miss the MTV Video Music Awards where he is nominated for the best hip-hop trophy. He is also working as an executive producer on the upcoming season of the TV series Euphoria.

Drake will celebrate his son's eighth birthday with Sophie Brussaux on October 11. He publicly acknowledged fathering his son Adonis in 2018.
