Ex-Hockey Player Punches Golfer, Throws Him in Lake in On-Course Brawl

Former NHL enforcer Nick Tarnasky was involved in a physical altercation at a golf course where he punched a rival multiple times and pushed him into a lake last week. The incident occurred at Alberta Springs Golf Resort in Red Deer, Canada.

The confrontation began when Tarnasky and his group became agitated with another group for taking too long to play. The situation escalated, leading to Tarnasky throwing his opponent into a lake and engaging in a physical altercation.

Canadian police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual causing disturbances at the golf resort but found that the person had left by the time they arrived. No arrests were made, and no further investigation was conducted.

During the altercation, Tarnasky punched his rival five times, pushed him to the ground, and engaged in a physical struggle. Despite the rival golfer attempting to continue the fight, Tarnasky eventually threw him several feet towards the water, ending the altercation.

Following the incident, the rival golfer's friend intervened to stop the fight, helped his friend back to a golf cart, and left the scene. Tarnasky, a former NHL player, has not been in the league since 2010 and has a history of playing in the American Hockey League. He has accumulated 881 penalty minutes in 486 AHL games.

The altercation at the golf course involving Nick Tarnasky and his rival ended with physical violence and the rival being thrown into a lake. The incident attracted attention due to the aggressive behavior displayed during the confrontation.
