Fans notice unique mark on Oscar winner Mikey Madison that appears when she's anxious

Mikey accessorized with a Tiffany & Co. necklace and styled her hair in an old Hollywood glamour updo. Notably, she displayed a uniquely shaped reddish birthmark just below her collarbone while accepting the Oscar on stage. Mikey mentioned that the heart-shaped beauty mark turns red when she is nervous or flustered.

During the Oscars, many viewers on social media commented on Mikey's birthmark, calling it 'cute' and 'iconic'. Last month, in an interview with W Magazine, Mikey shared a story about her first kiss, mentioning her birthmark turning red when she gets nervous. She recalled the embarrassing experience of her first kiss at a middle school dance.

In her acceptance speech for Best Actress, Mikey Madison acknowledged and honored the sex worker community, which inspired the film Anora. She expressed her surreal experience of growing up in Los Angeles and feeling distant from Hollywood. Mikey thanked her fellow nominees and recognized their work, including Demi Moore, Fernanda Torres, Cynthia Erivo, and Karla Sofía Gascón. She also thanked her twin brother Miles, who was present at the ceremony, along with her two older sisters and another brother. Both her parents are psychologists.

In the movie Anora, directed by Sean Baker, Mikey portrays the title character, a sex worker whose life changes dramatically after marrying a Russian oligarch's son in Las Vegas. The film won several awards at the 2025 Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director.
