Former WWE Chief Vince McMahon Involved in Car Crash

Former WWE chief Vince McMahon was in a high-speed car crash involving a pedestrian around the same time wrestling legend Hulk Hogan passed away.

The collision happened at 9 am EST on Thursday on Route 15 in Westport. McMahon was driving his 2024 Bentley when he rear-ended a 2023 BMW 430, causing debris to hit a third vehicle.

Barbara Doran, the BMW driver, shared her account on Facebook, stating McMahon hit her at 80-90mph. She mentioned McMahon's Bentley lost both front wheels and airbags deployed, likely preventing severe injuries.

McMahon received a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving and following too closely. He will appear in court next month. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the crash.

Hours after the incident, McMahon paid tribute to Hulk Hogan, who passed away from a cardiac arrest in Clearwater, Florida.

In January 2024, McMahon resigned from WWE amid a lawsuit by ex-employee Janel Grant, accusing him of sexual harassment and trafficking. The lawsuit detailed instances of alleged assault and harassment by McMahon and another WWE executive.

McMahon has been selling his WWE shares since leaving the company, reportedly making over £1.1bn. Despite rumors, TKO, the current WWE owner, has no intention of selling back to McMahon. WWE insiders find the idea of his return unlikely given the serious allegations against him.
