George and Amal Clooney Host A-List Guests at $100m Lake Como Villa

George and Amal Clooney, along with their eight-year-old twins, recently hosted a group of friends at their Villa Oleandra on Lake Como. The guests included actors Adam Sandler, Greta Gerwig, Noah Baumbach, Jim Broadbent, Laura Dern, Billy Crudup, Grace Edwards, Patrick Wilson, Eve Hewson, and Riley Keough. The group enjoyed a lunch at the exclusive Villa d'Este.

The Clooneys are rumored to be selling Villa Oleandra, a property George bought for €10m in 2002. The presence of the filmmaker on Lake Como reportedly caused a real estate boom, doubling property prices in the area. The villa, with 25 rooms, was valued at over $100m in 2022.

Lake Como holds special significance for George Clooney, as he met his wife Amal there in 2013. The couple has hosted various celebrities at their villa, including the cast of Ocean's Twelve and Jennifer Aniston. The Clooneys also own properties in France, Britain, and Los Angeles.

In 2019, George Clooney organized a fundraising contest with Omaze, offering winners a chance to meet him and Amal at their Lake Como villa. The proceeds went to the Clooney Foundation for Justice. The Clooneys continue to maintain their properties across different countries.
