Becky Lynch, a WWE wrestler, announced her role in the upcoming movie Happy Gilmore 2, a sequel to the 1996 film. She shared a video on Instagram in January 2025, using the hashtag #HappyGilmore2 and tagging Netflix. The movie is set to premiere on the streaming platform on Friday, July 25.

Lynch expressed her excitement about the movie, mentioning the amazing experience on set and working with Adam Sandler. She described the opportunity as ridiculous, wonderful, and incredibly fun in an interview with Variety.

Although Lynch's specific role in Happy Gilmore 2 has not been confirmed, fans are looking forward to seeing her performance in this highly anticipated sequel.
