Halsey receiving chemotherapy for rare T-cell disorder

Halsey, a 30-year-old singer, has disclosed that she is undergoing chemotherapy to address a rare health condition. In 2024, she revealed being diagnosed with lupus and a T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder. In a recent TikTok video, she updated fans on her treatment progress, mentioning receiving chemo sessions and a new port placement. Despite the treatment, she is preparing for an upcoming show.

Lymphoproliferative disorders involve the body producing an excessive amount of abnormal white blood cells, which can potentially develop into cancers like lymphoma or leukemia. Halsey shared in the comments of her video how she manages her daily life while undergoing chemotherapy, noting limitations on her activities during recovery periods.

Apart from her health situation, the singer discussed her career plans, including an upcoming tour, and personal milestones. She mentioned the preparation for the "Back to Badlands" show, her upcoming birthday, and the excitement of rehearsals. Halsey also expressed enthusiasm about incorporating nostalgic elements from her debut tour in 2015 into the upcoming performances.

Last year, Halsey disclosed her diagnoses of Lupus SLE in 2022 and a rare T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder, both of which are being managed or are in remission. She acknowledged the likelihood of dealing with these conditions for life but expressed gratitude for the support of her doctors. Halsey is currently engaged to actor Avan Jogia, whom she met shortly after her diagnoses and who has been supportive throughout her health journey.
