The IndyCar Series race held on the streets of Toronto will relocate to Markham, Ontario starting in 2026. The City of Markham, Race Promoter Green Savoree Toronto ULC, and IndyCar have announced that the Ontario Honda Dealers Indy will have a new home under a multi-year agreement.
A street circuit will be constructed in Markham, with the race scheduled for August 14-16, 2026.
Markham native and former IndyCar driver James Hinchcliffe expressed his excitement about the move, highlighting the significance of the series coming to his hometown. Markham, located adjacent to Toronto's northeastern boundary, is a growing city with a population of over 1.25 million residents.
