New characters introduced in Season 1 include Danielle Brooks as Leota Adebayo and Freddie Stroma as Adrian Chase/Vigilante.

Season 2 of Peacemaker began airing on August 21, with Chris discovering a portal to an alternate dimension where things seem to be better than in his own reality.

The season finale will air on Thursday, revealing the fate of the characters.

In a recent interview, James Gunn hinted that a Season 3 of Peacemaker is not currently in the works, but familiar faces may appear in future DC Universe projects.

Several characters from Peacemaker Season 2 have already made appearances in the DC Universe, connecting the series to other movies and shows.
