Isak excluded from Newcastle pre-season tour squad

Newcastle signed Isak from Real Sociedad for around £60m in 2022. Isak is considering a move away from Newcastle this summer after missing the pre-season tour of Asia due to a minor thigh injury. Despite interest from top clubs in Europe, Newcastle has maintained that Isak is not for sale.

Newcastle will face Arsenal in Singapore before playing a K-League All-Star team in South Korea and Tottenham. The club's owner, Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF), has set a reported valuation of £130m for Isak. While other Premier League clubs have shown interest, Newcastle's financial position allows them to resist pressure to sell.
