Jennifer Love Hewitt looks stunning in black dress at rare red carpet event.
Jennifer Love Hewitt made a rare appearance on the red carpet, turning heads at the premiere of the latest "I Know What You Did Last Summer" film on July 14. The 46-year-old actress wore a black dress with beads, paired with sparkling heels and rings, showcasing her new copper locks.
Hewitt gained fame alongside Freddie Prinze Jr., 49, in the original 1997 film, where her character, Julie James, was one of the targets of a mysterious killer. The new film, set nearly 30 years after the original murders in a small North Carolina town, features new victims seeking help from Prinze and Hewitt's characters, played by Madelyn Cline, Chase Sui Wonders, Jonah Hauer-King, Tyriq Withers, and Sarah Pidgeon.
Hewitt and Prinze were part of a group of Hollywood stars including Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Johnny Galecki, and Anne Heche, who starred in the original films. Both the "I Know What You Did Last Summer" series and "Can't Hardly Wait" from 1998 have become cult classics, solidifying Hewitt's status as a '90s teen idol.
Hewitt opened up about aging in the public eye, acknowledging that while she finds it personally easy to embrace aging, fans sometimes struggle with accepting her changing appearance. She expressed the desire to have the freedom to be herself at any age, despite facing criticism on social media for not looking the same as before.
