John Stamos Criticizes Lori Loughlin's Ex, Mossimo Giannulli
John Stamos has commented on the separation of his former Full House co-star, Lori Loughlin, from her husband, Mossimo Giannulli. Earlier this month, it was reported that Loughlin and Giannulli were living separately and taking a break from their 28-year marriage. The couple, known for their involvement in the 2019 college admissions scandal, share two daughters, Isabella Rose and Olivia Jade.
Speaking on the Good Guys podcast, Stamos expressed sadness for Loughlin, calling her "a saint" and criticizing Giannulli as "a terrible narcissist." Stamos defended Loughlin in relation to the college scandal, stating his belief that she was not significantly involved.
Loughlin and Giannulli were among 33 parents charged with manipulating the college admissions system. They pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit fraud for bribing a university coach. Loughlin served two months in prison and paid a fine, while Giannulli served five months and also faced financial penalties and community service.
Stamos mentioned Loughlin's positive attitude during her prison term and her daughter Olivia's success with YouTube and makeup. While not addressing rumors of infidelity by Giannulli, Stamos emphasized the impact of the situation on Loughlin.
Representatives for Loughlin have been contacted for comment by The Independent.
