Justin Bieber hints at upcoming music post 'Swag' album.
The pop artist Justin Bieber seems to be hinting at releasing new music following his recent album, Swag, which was released just two months ago.
A video shared by Josh Hewitt, a social content creator at Bieber’s label Universal Music Group, shows a billboard in east London featuring the title Swag II.
Swag, a surprise 21-track LP released on July 11, was co-produced by Bieber and featured collaborations with artists like Dijon, mk.gee, and Eddie Benjamin. The album, inspired by Bieber’s life as a new father, included the single “Daises,” which became his eighth No. 1 single on the UK charts.
This achievement puts Bieber in the company of artists like Sam Smith, The Rolling Stones, and Oasis for UK Number 1 singles.
The new music is Bieber’s first full-length studio album since Justice in 2021. The project, inspired by Bieber’s role as a husband and father, promises a more personal and reflective sound.
In a review by The Independent’s critic Adam White, the album was described as a “god-fearing, hyper-sexual slog,” offering an insight into Bieber’s struggles with themes of sex, God, and self-pity.
Bieber, who became a father to son Jack in August last year with his wife Hailey Bieber, was rumored to have parted ways with his longtime music manager, Scooter Braun, in 2023. Bieber was discovered at age 13 on YouTube by Braun, leading to his signing with RBMG Records in 2008 and the release of his debut single “One Time” in 2009.
