Lady Gaga Dominates 2025 MTV VMAs Nominations

Lady Gaga leads the nominations for the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, with 12 nods. She is a top contender for awards like Artist of the Year, Video of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Album. This is the third time she has topped the nominations list, following her success in 2010 and 2020.

Following closely behind Gaga is Bruno Mars with 11 nominations, and Kendrick Lamar with 10. Rosé and Sabrina Carpenter also achieve personal bests with eight nominations each.

New categories at this year's awards include Best Country Artist and Best Pop Artist. The nominees for Best New Artist include 33 acts, such as Alex Warren, Ella Langley, and The Marías, among others.

The 2025 MTV Video Music Awards will be broadcast live on September 7 at 8:00 PM ET on CBS, a first for the show. Fans can vote in 19 gender-neutral categories until September 5 at 6:00 PM ET on vote.mtv.com.
