Larry Nance Jr. attends college game to support alma mater Wyoming against Zips.

Cleveland Cavaliers forward Larry Nance Jr. attended the University of Akron to watch his alma mater, Wyoming, play against the Zips on August 28, 2025.

Nance, who is starting his 11th NBA season and is back with the Cavaliers for a second time, previously played for them during the 2018 NBA Finals.

Having been picked by the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2015 NBA Draft, Nance has been traded four times to different teams, including Cleveland in 2018, Portland Trail Blazers in 2021, New Orleans Pelicans in 2022, and Atlanta Hawks in 2024.

A graduate of Revere High School, Nance's NBA career averages include 7.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists, and 1.1 steals per game, with a total of 4,204 points scored in regular season games.

During his time at Wyoming, Nance played a key role in the team's success, helping them win the Mountain West tournament and secure a spot in the NCAA Tournament in 2015. He achieved significant rankings in various statistical categories for the university.
