Las Vegas Aces Sweep Mercury for 3rd WNBA Title

A'Ja Wilson won another WNBA title as the Las Vegas Aces swept the Phoenix Mercury in Game 4 with a 97-86 victory. The Aces faced a challenge as the Mercury cut their 20-point lead to six after coach Nate Tibbetts was ejected in the second quarter for arguing with a referee.

Tibbetts received two technical fouls for disputing a call, leading to his ejection. This incident was part of a series of controversies involving WNBA officials during the postseason. Las Vegas' A'Ja Wilson was instrumental in the victory, scoring 31 points and earning her second WNBA Finals MVP award.

The Aces dominated the series, scoring over 90 points per game and clinching the championship with a 4-0 victory. Despite a strong performance by Mercury's Kahleah Copper, who scored 30 points, Las Vegas maintained the lead throughout the game. Phoenix, missing key players due to injuries, couldn't overcome the Aces' offensive prowess.

Las Vegas Aces were presented with the championship trophy by WNBA commissioner Cathy Engelbert amidst some boos from the Las Vegas fans in attendance. The Aces' victory marked their third league championship, solidifying their status as one of the top teams in the WNBA.
