Leandro Trossard signs fresh deal with Arsenal

Leandro Trossard has agreed to a new contract at Arsenal, which includes a significant pay increase. The 30-year-old has renegotiated his contract to raise his salary without extending the deal beyond its original expiry in 2027.

There are currently no notable developments suggesting Trossard might leave the club during this transfer window. The Belgium international has been in discussions with Arsenal to enhance his pay, reflecting his valued role within the squad.

Following negotiations throughout the summer, Trossard and Arsenal have now reached an agreement. Since joining Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023 for £27 million ($36.1m), Trossard has become a key and versatile player under Mikel Arteta.

Having scored 28 goals and provided 23 assists in 124 games for Arsenal, Trossard has been deployed in various positions, including on the wings, up front, and in midfield. He missed Arsenal's first Premier League game of the season due to a groin injury sustained in a pre-season match against Tottenham Hotspur on July 31.

Arsenal's next match is against Leeds United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
