Leeds in Talks for Loan Deal with Brighton's Buonanotte
Leeds United is working on finalizing a loan deal for Argentina international Facundo Buonanotte from Brighton & Hove Albion. Talks about the move have progressed today after the player was tracked by Daniel Farke’s team over the summer.
Buonanotte, who primarily played on the right and through the center for Leicester City last season, scored five goals and provided two assists in 31 Premier League appearances, 14 of which were starts.
Brighton is eager to loan out the 20-year-old player again this year, preferably within the Premier League. If the transfer to West Yorkshire goes through, Buonanotte would become the 11th addition to Farke’s squad this summer.
Following the arrival of Noah Okafor on August 21, Farke has expressed his intention to strengthen the attacking options with one or two more signings. Buonanotte would join the competition for starting spots on the flanks with Daniel James, Okafor, Wilfried Gnonto, Jack Harrison, and Brenden Aaronson.
Leeds United confirmed the season-long loan of Belgian winger Largie Ramazani to Valencia on Thursday evening.
