Lewis Hamilton's Dog Roscoe in Coma: Heartbreaking Update

Lewis Hamilton shared on Instagram that his 12-year-old bulldog, Roscoe, is in a coma. Roscoe, who has been a constant companion to Hamilton in the F1 paddock, was diagnosed with pneumonia in April and is now facing a critical condition.

Hamilton expressed uncertainty about Roscoe's recovery, as the veterinary team is unsure if he will wake up. Roscoe's health deteriorated, leading to his hospitalization and sedation due to breathing difficulties. Despite his heart briefly stopping during the process, medical intervention revived him, but he remains in a coma.

Hamilton requested support and prayers for Roscoe's recovery, emphasizing the challenging situation. Roscoe, adopted by Hamilton in 2013, has been under the care of dog trainer Kristin McMillan during Hamilton's F1 travels. Bulldogs like Roscoe typically live up to 10 years, making his current age of 12-and-a-half quite advanced.

Hamilton, who has been updating fans on Roscoe's condition, expressed his desire to bring Roscoe to upcoming F1 races for comfort and cheer. Roscoe, with a significant following on his own Instagram page, has been a beloved companion to Hamilton and a familiar presence at F1 events.
