Hugo Ekitike joined his new Liverpool teammates for the first time after his £79 million transfer to Anfield. The 23-year-old striker, signed from Eintracht Frankfurt on a six-year deal, flew to Hong Kong to join Liverpool's preseason tour in the Far East.

Ekitike's transfer deal includes a £69 million base fee and £10 million in add-ons based on team and player performance. During a training session, Mohamed Salah accidentally collided with Diaz, causing laughter among fans on social media. Diaz, a key player for Liverpool, scored 13 goals and provided five assists during the previous season.

Liverpool values Diaz at over £100 million, rejecting offers similar to what Manchester United declined for Bruno Fernandes. Saudi clubs, particularly Al-Nassr, have shown interest in Diaz with discussions of bids before Bayern Munich's failed attempt.
