Former President Donald Trump is set to launch his own social media platform, "Truth Social," in early 2026. This platform aims to provide a space for free speech and will be operated by the Trump Media & Technology Group.

The launch of Truth Social comes after Trump was banned from major social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook following the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021. Trump's team has described Truth Social as a platform that will "fight back against the tyranny of Big Tech."

The platform is expected to be available for download in the Apple App Store starting on February 21. It will be rolled out to the general public in the coming weeks. Trump's spokesperson has stated that the platform will prioritize user privacy and free speech.
