Man United and Leeds Draw with Cunha's Debut

Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United and promoted Leeds played a goalless friendly match in Stockholm to kick off their pre-season preparations. The game took place at the Strawberry Arena in front of a crowd of 45,345, where Manchester United had won the Europa League in 2017.

New signings Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon made their debut for Manchester United in a first half that lacked clear chances. Casemiro's late attempt was deflected onto the crossbar by Ethan Ampadu before both teams made significant changes at halftime.

Leeds, supported by minority owner Will Ferrell, posed more threats in the second half. Tom Heaton made crucial saves denying Jayden Bogle and Largie Ramazani. Patrick Dorgu's shot was saved by Illan Meslier, and Kobbie Mainoo hit the crossbar before Ayden Heaven's attempt was blocked by Daniel Farke's team.
