Kim Namjoon, a member of BTS, released his first solo album in 2015 under the name RM. He announced working on 'RM 2' in March, teasing a preview of the album featuring the track 'Seoul'.
Born on September 12, 1994, Kim Namjoon is a South Korean musician and record producer, known for his role in the K-pop group BTS. He has a successful solo career as RM, with his first solo project released in 2015. Kim has collaborated with artists like Wale, Warren G, and Primary, and was featured on XXL's 2017 list of Korean rappers to know.
'Mono', RM's second solo project, was released on October 22 and features seven tracks. The album includes collaborations with eAeon and NELL. BTS's label, Big Hit Entertainment, promoted the album before its release, sharing updates and messages from RM's collaborators.
BTS recently renewed their contract with Big Hit Entertainment for another seven years. The group expressed gratitude towards their mentor and producer, Bang Si-Hyuk, for supporting their vision and music.
