Michael Bisping: Paulo Costa defeats himself, loses UFC fight

Michael Bisping doesn't believe Paulo Costa will recover at UFC 318.

Costa (14-4 MMA, 6-4 UFC) aims to end a two-fight losing streak by facing middleweight Roman Kopylov (14-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC) in Saturday's co-main event at Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.

Bisping, a former title contender, questions Costa's mindset due to losing four of his last five fights.

Bisping attributes Costa's losses to a mental barrier rather than lack of skill. He believes Costa needs to show more aggression in the upcoming fight against Kopylov, who is younger, quicker, taller, and in good form.

Kopylov, who has won six of his last seven fights, is known for finishing fights, including a recent head kick TKO victory. Bisping predicts that Kopylov will likely emerge victorious against Costa due to their differing momentum.
