5 Seconds of Summer guitarist Michael Clifford disclosed that he and partner Crystal Leigh got married in secret at their home a year ago. The couple shared photos from their private ceremony and reception with People magazine to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. Michael, 26, expressed his joy in making Crystal Mrs. Clifford without delay.

The pair tied the knot with their bridal party and groomsmen present at their home in the U.S. They plan to have a larger wedding in Bali for their families. Crystal wore two wedding dresses from designer Galia Lahav, while Michael donned a suit from Yves Saint Laurent. They are also planning a honeymoon in Bali.

Due to the pandemic, Michael and Crystal postponed their grand overseas wedding but decided to proceed with their original January 2021 wedding date by having an intimate ceremony in Los Angeles. The celebration in their backyard included guests like Michael's 5SOS bandmates Luke Hemmings, Calum Hood, and Ashton Irwin.

The couple cherished being near friends after a long time apart due to COVID and found it special to be officially married, even in secret. They are looking forward to their upcoming Bali wedding, where they will include traditional wedding elements like reciting vows.

For their Los Angeles ceremony, Michael and Crystal enjoyed a mix of classic Australian dishes and vegan options. They saved some traditional wedding customs for their Bali celebration, ensuring Crystal could share special moments with her mother. Michael and Crystal, residing in Los Angeles, got engaged in January 2019 after publicly confirming their relationship in 2017.
