In the World Series of Darts final, Michael van Gerwen defeated defending champion Luke Littler 11-7 to claim his sixth title. This victory marked his first televised title in two years.

Van Gerwen, a Dutchman, expressed his joy at winning in front of a supportive home crowd in Amsterdam. He acknowledged the challenges he had faced in recent months but was pleased with his performance.

The match saw Van Gerwen take an early lead with three 180s in the first five legs. Despite Littler leveling the score at one point, Van Gerwen managed to regain the lead and secure the win.

A crucial moment in the game occurred when Littler missed an opportunity to tie the score at 7-7. Van Gerwen capitalized on this, extending his lead to 9-6 before sealing the victory with a 130 checkout.

In the semi-finals, Van Gerwen defeated Josh Rock 11-6, while Littler staged a comeback from 9-5 down to beat Gerwyn Price 11-10.
