NASCAR driver falls celebrating win, taken to hospital after race

Connor Zilisch won the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Watkins Glen on Saturday. However, his victory celebration was cut short when he fell and had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance.

After getting out of his car, Zilisch slipped while standing on the roof and window, causing him to fall hard to the ground. He was motionless initially but later spoke with medical staff while being placed on a backboard and taken to the ambulance.

NASCAR reported that Zilisch was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. The organization confirmed that he is conscious and responsive.
