New Picture of Prince George Revealed on His 12th Birthday

A new photo of Prince George has been shared by the Royal Family to celebrate his 12th birthday. The picture, taken by photographer Josh Shinner in Norfolk earlier this year, shows George smiling while leaning on a wooden gate. The Royal Family's official account reposted the image with a birthday message for Prince George.

The Prince and Princess of Wales frequently share photos of their children on special occasions like birthdays. Many of these photos are taken by Kate, who is an enthusiastic amateur photographer. Earlier this year, a photo of Princess Charlotte taken by Kate on an iPhone during a visit to Cumbria was shared for her 10th birthday. Similarly, a photo taken by Mr. Shinner was released for Prince Louis's seventh birthday.

Prince George, whose full name is George Alexander Louis, was born on July 22, 2013, at 4:24 pm in the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London. He weighed 8lb 6oz at birth. George made his first public appearance the day after his birth, wrapped in a white merino wool shawl and cradled in Kate's arms.

Recently, George was seen at Wimbledon with Prince William and Princess Charlotte. They watched as Kate presented the Wimbledon men's trophy to Jannik Sinner, the first Italian to win a Wimbledon singles title. Sinner met the royals and signed tennis balls for George and Charlotte during the event.
