New York Giants Beat Philadelphia Eagles 34-17: Standout Performances by Jaxson Dart & Cam Skattebo

Rookies Jaxson Dart and Cam Skattebo played key roles in the New York Giants' 34-17 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, the defending Super Bowl champions.

Dart, in his third start replacing veteran Russell Wilson, threw for one touchdown and ran for another, while Skattebo scored three touchdowns at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.

The Eagles suffered back-to-back losses for the first time since 2023, following their defeat by the Denver Broncos last week. This win marked the first time since 1998 that the Giants have defeated defending Super Bowl champions.

Dart, 22, commented on the unexpected performance, saying, "They just came off of winning the Super Bowl. They're the top team in the league. And, quite honestly, nobody really expected us to put up a performance like this."

Skattebo, 23, emphasized the team's positive mindset, stating, "The franchise has been a losing franchise the last couple of years, but that's not who we are right now. We need to continue to build each day and have these guys with positive mindsets."

Skattebo's three rushing touchdowns made him the second Giants rookie to achieve this feat, while he and Dart are the first pair of Giants rookies to score rushing touchdowns in a game since 1980.
