Nicolas Jackson Upset Over Loan Cancellation from Chelsea

Nicolas Jackson Unwilling to Return to Chelsea After Bayern Munich Loan Cancellation

Nicolas Jackson is reportedly unwilling to return to Chelsea after his loan move to Bayern Munich was called off. The German club had initially agreed to take Jackson on loan, but Chelsea canceled the move following an injury to striker Liam Delap during a match against Fulham.

Reports from Senegal indicate that Jackson is determined to see the loan to Bayern go through. Despite Bayern's intention to pay a record £13 million (€15 million) loan fee and a potential buyout option of £56 million (€65 million) plus a sell-on clause, Chelsea informed Bayern that the deal was off and that Jackson could not proceed with a medical examination.

Bayern's sporting director, Max Eberl, stated that Jackson and his agent will be instructed to return to London as he remains a Chelsea player. Eberl expressed hope for a resolution in the next 48 hours.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca commented on Delap's injury, expressing concern over the situation and the need for another striker. Jackson had recently fallen down the pecking order at Chelsea following the arrivals of Delap and Joao Pedro.

Despite training with Chelsea's first team in the past month, Jackson had been seeking a move away from the club, leading to his exclusion from pre-season matches and early-season fixtures. Bayern had been keen on acquiring Jackson to bolster their attacking options alongside Harry Kane.

Jackson's contract with Chelsea is set to run until 2033.
