Nip/Tuck Star Dylan Walsh Suffers Stroke While Driving Family in Car
Nip/Tuck actor Dylan Walsh reportedly had a stroke before a car accident in New Jersey less than two weeks ago, as per his representative on Wednesday. The actor, 61, was found with open containers of White Claw Hard Seltzer in his 2022 Ford Explorer when he crashed into utility poles in Rumson, New Jersey earlier this month.
Walsh confessed to police that he had been drinking at a bar before the accident. The police report stated that the vehicle was severely damaged, pinned to a utility pole, and had hit another pole first, causing it to split in half.
His wife, Leslie Bourque-Walsh, was at the scene and was reported to be in pain. Additionally, an adult woman and two juveniles were also in the vehicle during the crash. Police discovered a cooler bag with hard seltzer cans, some of which were opened.
Eyewitnesses mentioned that the vehicle was swerving before hitting the utility poles. Walsh was cited for multiple violations, including reckless driving and possessing an open container of alcohol. He provided a blood sample, and the results are pending.
Walsh, known for his role in Nip/Tuck, was recovering at home after the accident. His representative expressed gratitude to the emergency responders and medical staff involved in the incident. Walsh has appeared in various TV shows and films, including Blue Bloods and We Were Soldiers.
