Norris Triumphs in Hungarian Grand Prix as Leclerc's Victory Fades

Lando Norris won the 2025 Hungarian Grand Prix in Formula One on Sunday, narrowly beating Oscar Piastri and reducing the gap to his McLaren teammate to just nine points in the championship battle.

Charles Leclerc led the race initially but faced a performance drop, causing him to miss the podium. Norris had to adjust his strategy after being stuck behind George Russell. He opted for a one-stop strategy, which proved successful.

Piastri closed in on Leclerc and Norris in the final laps, reducing the gap to under two seconds. However, Norris managed to hold on to win by 0.6 seconds. Russell finished third after passing Leclerc, who received a penalty for defensive moves.

Ferrari had a disappointing weekend despite Leclerc securing pole position. Leclerc expressed frustration over the team's strategy and car performance, finishing third behind Piastri and Norris.

Max Verstappen struggled at the Hungarian Grand Prix due to Red Bull's car issues in low-speed corners. Despite making daring overtaking moves, Verstappen finished ninth after facing tire challenges and a significant gap to competitors.

Gabriel Bortoleto had a strong race, finishing sixth and securing Sauber's sixth consecutive points finish. Bortoleto has shown improvement since his F1 debut, consistently scoring points and outperforming his teammate.
