Packers TE Tucker Kraft set to play against Browns
Despite a knee injury on Thursday and missing practice on Friday, Green Bay Packers tight end Tucker Kraft is expected to play on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, as reported by Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Kraft was listed as questionable on the final injury report after being injured during practice on Thursday. However, post-practice tests showed no major injury, and coach Matt LaFleur indicated Kraft could play if medically cleared and confident in avoiding further injury.
The injury seems to have been more of a scare than a serious issue, and Kraft, known for his toughness and perfect attendance in 36 regular-season games since joining the NFL, is anticipated to play just three days after the incident.
Kraft's presence will provide quarterback Jordan Love with one of his key targets against the Browns' strong defense on Sunday.
Selected in the third round in 2023, Kraft currently leads the Packers in receptions (eight), receiving yards (140), and touchdown catches (2) in the 2025 season. He boasts an average of 17.5 yards per catch and 12.7 yards per target across two games.
The Packers will head to Cleveland on Saturday before their noon CT kickoff at Huntington Bank Stadium on Sunday.
Confirmation of Kraft's availability will come at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday when gameday inactives are announced. The only other questionable player for the Packers is right tackle Zach Tom, who sat out last week due to an oblique injury.
