Pen pals from Canada and Singapore reunite after 43 years
Michelle Anne Ng from Singapore and Sonya Clarke Casey from Newfoundland started writing letters to each other in 1983 as part of a school project. Their correspondence continued for 43 years, documenting their lives.
In early September, the two women met in person for the first time in Newfoundland. They both expressed that the sentiment of receiving a handwritten letter cannot be replaced by technology.
