Polar bears take over deserted Soviet research station

Drone footage recently revealed a group of polar bears residing within an abandoned research station on Kolyuchin Island in Russia. Vadim Makhorov, a travel blogger, shared a video capturing several bears inside the dilapidated building, peering through windows and roaming around the island. One bear even attempted to catch the drone operated by the blogger.

The Kolyuchin weather station was deserted in the early 1990s following the disintegration of the Soviet Union.
