Premier League Giant Eyes Gianluigi Donnarumma from PSG

Paris Saint Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is being sought after by Manchester City as his future remains uncertain this summer. The 26-year-old has reportedly been excluded from the PSG squad by manager Luis Enrique, prompting interest from Pep Guardiola's team.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have approached PSG to discuss the conditions of a potential deal for Donnarumma. PSG is said to be asking for around €50m, which City considers too high. A transfer may only happen if Ederson leaves the club. Chelsea is not pursuing Donnarumma, as per Romano. The goalkeeper is expected to clarify his position soon.

RMC Sport reports that PSG's management has taken steps to indicate that Donnarumma's time at the club is ending. This includes excluding him from first-team training following their recent participation in the FIFA Club World Cup final. Lucas Chevalier has been reportedly informed that he is PSG's new first-choice goalkeeper. Reports have linked Chelsea and Manchester United as potential destinations for Donnarumma, but his representatives have emphasized that he controls his future. Despite being sidelined by PSG, Donnarumma is said to be unwilling to leave the club. He currently earns around £200,000 per week at PSG.

Since joining PSG from AC Milan in 2021 on a free transfer, Donnarumma has made 161 appearances for the club. He has won multiple domestic titles with PSG and was instrumental in their Champions League victory. Additionally, he played a key role in Italy's European Championship triumph in 2021.
