Raiders vs. Chargers Week 2 Injury Update: JPJ Out, Bowers Questionable

The Raiders concluded their final practice of the week ahead of their upcoming game against the Chargers on Monday night. The team received mixed news regarding player availability. Elandon Roberts was removed from the injury report, while TE Brock Bowers returned to practice and is listed as Questionable for the game. However, right guard Jackson Powers-Johnson has been ruled OUT due to a concussion.

The Chargers will be missing middle linebacker Denzel Perryman (ankle) and DB Elijah Molden, who is also OUT with a hamstring injury.

Despite missing two practices, there is optimism that Brock Bowers may still be able to play based on positive remarks made by coach Pete Carroll regarding his potential return to the game last Sunday.

Alex Cappa will step in to replace Jackson Powers-Johnson at right guard. Cappa was signed by the team in the offseason to start at the position but was replaced during camp when Jordan Meredith took over as the starting center, leading to Powers-Johnson's move to right guard.
