Ravens Bench 3 Pro Bowlers for Lions Game
Baltimore resumed practice on Saturday ahead of Week 5, with Nnamdi Madubuike being one of four players ruled out for Monday night's game against the Detroit Lions. Isaiah Likely took part in sessions on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday but emphasized patience regarding his return.
Madubuike, Patrick Ricard, and Kyle Van Noy were among the starters who did not practice. Madubuike, who has not missed a game due to injury since his rookie year in 2020, will end a streak of 55 consecutive games played as he sits out Monday night. Coach Harbaugh did not provide many details on the injury, which occurred during the previous Sunday's win over the Cleveland Browns. The Ravens are assessing the next steps for Madubuike, who did not practice throughout the week.
Rookie sixth-round pick Aeneas Peebles has impressed in limited opportunities and is expected to have more playing time in Madubuike's absence. Peebles has one tackle in two games this season and has received praise from PFF.
Marlon Humphrey, Rasheen Ali (recovering from a concussion), and John Jenkins (dealing with a personal matter) all fully participated in practice and have no injury concerns.
For Detroit, four players are listed as questionable. Marcus Davenport (chest) did not practice and is unlikely to play. Davenport sustained the injury in Week 2 but it is not season-ending, as confirmed by head coach Dan Campbell. Left tackle Taylor Decker and linebacker Jack Campbell returned to practice on Friday. Al-Quadin Muhammad may have an increased role in the upcoming game.
