Recap of 'Dancing With The Stars': Elimination Updates

The Dancing With the Stars ballroom was transformed into the Ozdust Ballroom for the show’s first-ever Wicked Night on Tuesday, Oct. 21. The 10 remaining contestants performed to hit songs from Wicked and Wicked: For Good. Unfortunately, one couple was eliminated at the end of the evening.

Wicked Night started with a medley performance of songs like “No One Mourns the Wicked” and “Defying Gravity.” The couples then showcased partner dances including the Argentine Tango, Contemporary, Foxtrot, Jazz, Rumba, and Quickstep.

Director Jon M. Chu from Wicked and Wicked: For Good served as a guest judge. Viewers also saw an exclusive clip from Wicked: For Good and received video messages from stars like Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande.

Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas, and Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa received the highest scores of the night, each earning 39 out of 40. Robert Irwin and Witney Carson, Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten, and Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov also delivered strong performances.

Scott Hoying and Rylee Arnold were eliminated during Week 6 of Dancing With the Stars Season 34. The couple had the lowest combined total of judges’ scores and viewers’ votes from Dedication Night and Wicked Night.
